We supply flat-film detectors in a wide range of sizes and tolerances to suit the application. Our standard range of detectors are manufactured with platinum-coated nickel lead wires that offer a temperature range from -70 °C to 500 °C available to IEC751 with tolerance bands Class B, Class A and 1/3DIN.
Extremely versatile, flat-film sensors are relatively cheap to manufacture and are commonly used in general-purpose applications, such as household goods, where a fast response to temperature changes is required. As a rule, flat-film sensors are less stable and have a lower temperature range than wire-wound detectors.
Flat-film and flat-wire-wound temperature detectors are available in various sizes to suit the application.
Our highly experienced technicians can advise you on the best approaches for the most demanding of applications.
Detectors are manufactured to meet all of the recognised International standards.

The measurement of temperature is widely used across manufacturing processes and flat or thin-film detectors offer a cost-effective alternative to other types of sensors, such as ceramic wire-wound.
Pt100 detectors are used in numerous processes, such as refrigeration, heat treatment and calibration across a wide range of industrial sectors where their relative immunity to electrical noise makes them well suited for use in high-voltage equipment. Pt sensors also offer excellent stability and repeatability.
